Located on the 2nd floor of THOMPSON LES, the interiors possess a minimalist elegance while maintaining a touch of adventure reflective of SHANG’s cuisine. Past the lattice cut dark wood screens at the entrance to the main dining room, bold shapes and colors dominate, brightly reflected in the Italian glass tiles lining the walls of the bar. Handmade bronze and orange chandeliers float over rich walnut banquette tables, creating an ethereal atmosphere for diners. Chinese wallpaper with erotica designs create a tantalizing escape for those who desire a more intimate experience in the private dining area.

SHANG BAR AND LOUNGEThe SHANG Bar and lounge, located on the 2nd floor of Thompson LES, features an elongated leather topped bar, expansive lounge area and artwork by Peter Halley. The lounge, perfect from happy hour to nightcap, serves an extensive wine, top-shelf drink and specialty cocktail list.
TERRACEThe 2nd floor SHANG terrace serves an eclectic menu of small plates along with pitchers of specialty cocktails. The casual, open-air terrace invites diners to share and savor light bites and delicious drinks at an affordable price.
POOLSIDEThe outdoor pool is a relaxing respite from the busy streets below, and features a photolithograph of Andy Warhol by Gerard Malanga on the pool floor. Located on the 3rd floor, the pool is flanked by a bar, cabanas and luxe, convertible lounge chairs. From day to evening, guests can enjoy specialty cocktails and SHANG small plates while relaxing poolside.
ROOM 100Room 100 opens directly to the Warhol Pool deck. This combination allows versatility in use from conferences to events. The room is well appointed with floor to ceiling windows that stream in natural light or full black out curtains and private bath. Audio Visual options include a 60 inch wall mounted LCD Flat Screen TV with laptop presentation connectivity options.
ABOVE ALLENPerched seven stories above New York’s pulsing Lower East Side, Above Allen is a guests and members only terrace lounge. Above Allen’s retractable glass roof provides year-round sweeping views of the city skyline. Guests can imbibe on fresh, specialty cocktails and nibble from a selection of delicious small plates from SHANG’s global Chinese menu as they relax on custom cushions featuring Stephen Sprouse-designed fabric.
THOMPSON LOFTOur Thompson Loft, the height of luxury in Manhattan offers a 2,000 sq. ft duplex loft for an intimate cocktail party or informal seated dinner. The expansive suite is complete with a dining and entertaining space, full kitchen, gas fireplace and balcony that spans the entire length of the suite.
